Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers and visitors play a crucial and invaluable role in our District. On behalf of North Shore Elementary School, we extend our sincere appreciation for your commitment to enhancing the academic success of our students. Your efforts can positively impact students, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, and the broader community.

By sharing your time, talents, and resources, you not only address the immediate needs of our students but also help foster a strong connection between the school and the community. As a volunteer or visitor, you are an essential ambassador of the school and the District, representing the positive work and progress achieved by our students and staff. Through your involvement, you help highlight and promote the many wonderful initiatives taking place in our schools.

Volunteers and visitors must have their driver license scanned into our Live Scan system for safety clearance before entering the school past the administrative offices. This is for the protection of your child, all other students, and staff members. We appreciate your understanding of this important safety decision.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! Here are some recommendations:

First Steps:

1. Speak with your child's teacher about current, available needs for volunteers.

2. Download the Volunteer Packet (below) or pick-up a copy at school.

Next Steps:
Read and complete the packet -

1. Letter to Volunteers with the steps to complete in the process of applying to be a school volunteer.

2. Volunteer Application needs to be completed and signed. You will be notified by North Shore Elementary School when you have been cleared to volunteer at the school.

3. District Expectations of Appropriate Professional Conduct includes rules regarding professional boundaries and for social media. Review carefully, complete and sign.

4. Volunteer Participant needs to be completed and signed.

We welcome your questions and your volunteer assistance. Again, thank you for your interest in helping support students and staff at North Shore Elementary Shore.
