North Shore Eagle Boosters
This is North Shore’s PTA program. They put on most of the events and fundraisers for our kids and our school – and have a lot of fun along the way! Boosters is always “in the know” about happenings at our school and post about important information on social media. There are many levels of involvement available so you can be as involved as what works for you!
Follow them on Facebook: NS Eagle Boosters
Email to learn more: nse.boosters@gmail.com
Watch your school notifications for meeting dates throughout the year!
School Site Council (SSC) & ELAC
These organizations are opportunities for you to have a say in the direction of important policies and funding expenditures. As a parent leader in SSC or ELAC, we rely on you for feedback and to represent our school to the community. ELAC is specifically designed to represent our English Learner population. Even if you are not voted in as a member, all parents are welcome to attend the SSC and ELAC meetings as non-voting contributors.
Volunteer to run for a position in SSC or ELAC by filling out the interest card at Back to School Night.
Meeting notifications are posted in the front of the school and on Parent Square.
Classroom Volunteers
Parents or guardians interested in being hands-on in their child’s classroom may have the opportunity to do so by connecting directly with their child’s teacher. Email or Parent Square the teacher to learn more about the needs in their classroom and share your availability. Being able to come consistently to volunteer (i.e. every Friday at 12) is the most helpful for our teachers and students, but your teacher may have other needs also!
Volunteers that will be in the classroom more than 1x per month are required to submit the Volunteer Packet, pass a background check & TB screening, provide ID, and be approved by the Principal before they may enter the classroom.
Volunteer packet and information is on this page, below.

Volunteer Information
Volunteers and visitors play a crucial and invaluable role in our District. On behalf of North Shore Elementary School, we extend our sincere appreciation for your commitment to enhancing the academic success of our students. Your efforts can positively impact students, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, and the broader community.
Volunteers and visitors must have their drivers license scanned into our Live Scan system for safety clearance before entering the school past the administrative offices. This is for the protection of your child, all other students, and staff members. We appreciate your understanding of this important safety decision.
